Building information Modeling:

Using three-dimensional, building modeling software, Vector Technical Services can serve as your lead BIM coordinator to present dynamic visualizations of the proposed installation of your conduit racks, light fixtures and all other electrical equipment for use in clash detection, coordination, installation and pre-fabrication.
Coordination Meetings:
Vector Technical Services can attend coordination meetings on behalf of the electrical contractor to ensure the electrical conduit, equipment, etc., can be installed per local and national codes while saving on labor and material costs.
COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING (CAD):
Vector Technical Services uses the latest version of AutoCAD to provide 2-D CAD drafting services for presentation drawings, design development drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents. We are experienced with all types of projects: Residential, Commercial, Retail and Institutional.
ELECTRICAL DESIGN:
The staff at Vector Technical Services has the expertise to assist your engineering department in designing lighting and power systems for a multitude of applications ranging from retail establishments to educational facilities. DOMINION VA POWER SYSTEMS OPERATION CENTER
The $80 million, 100,000 square-foot EMP shielded facility serves as a control room for the company’s long-distance and high-voltage power transfer systems that carry electricity directly from power stations to substations.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF RICHMOND AT VCU
Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR) is Central Virginia’s only comprehensive, full-service hospital dedicated to the care of children. The $168 million, 640,000 square-foot facility houses 7 stories of operating, imaging and laboratory spaces along with a 600 space parking garage.

UVA ALDERMAN RD DORMS – PHASES III & IVa
Phase III consisted of two five-story residence halls known as Lile-Maupin and Tuttle-Dunnington – each housing 176 first year students and 9 resident staff members.
Phase IVa consisted of a third five-story residence hall known as Shannon House – housing 192 first year students and 9 resident staff members.

The expansive $200 million, 535,000 square-foot retail and dining facility houses a 103 room wilderness hotel called Big Cypress Lodge, a 13-lane bowling alley and at 28 stories, the nation’s tallest Freestanding Glass elevator.
Vector Technical Services assisted with the electrical design and performed all the cad and Revit services for the Electrical Engineer.
William & Mary Zable Stadium Renovation
WILLIAM & MARY ZABLE STADIUM RENOVATION
The $27 million makeover of the 79-year-old football stadium plans for a new upper deck, suites and a brand new media box on the West, or home, side of the stadium.
Vector Technical Services assisted with the electrical design and performed all the CAD and Revit services for the Electrical Engineer during the design phase and performed the BIM Coordination and provided coordination shop drawings for the Lighting, Telecom and Electrical Power Distribution systems during the construction phase of the project.

The replacement clinic at Camp Lejeune is a 45,000 square foot facility that houses clinical and administrative functions. The clinic is located on the medical campus and is convenient to specialties and ancillary services located in the hospital.

QUIRK HOTEL – RICHMOND, VA
QUIRK HOTEL – RICHMOND, VA
The Italian Renaissance-style building, built in 1916, was a former department store. After the extensive remodel, tt houses six floors of hotel rooms plus the lobby, the rooftop bar and an underground floor with a fitness center.
